Privio is a software-as-a-service platform that helps businesses identify which US state privacy laws may apply to them and provides compliance checklists. The Service analyzes information you provide and generates guidance based on publicly available legal frameworks.
3. Not Legal Advice
Privio does not provide legal advice. The information generated by the Service is for general informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as a substitute for consultation with a qualified attorney. Privacy laws are complex and fact-specific; you should seek professional legal counsel for your particular situation.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
5. Subscription and Payment
Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis. You may cancel at any time through your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are provided at our discretion. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' advance notice.

You agree not to:

- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Privio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the information provided will be complete or accurate.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
